Research & Development
- Product oriented developments are in the main focus of GRT. Those optimizations of the techniques have a direct impact on the customer’s requirements or projects. Screening, engraving resolution and edge reproduction of the given data are only some foci of this wide range of parameters.
- GRT is working also on different R&D projects in cooperations with different companies and instituts worldwide. Those results will bring also our customers advantages in mid- or long-therm, to stabilize their market position.
- All projects have the common goal, to show and realize new paths, where the roto gravure can be used next. Part of those activities is the BMBF-project “Plasma-Printing”, where a micro structures in roto gravure cylinders are used for plasma deposioning of informations.
- GRT is member of the “Organic Electronic Association” focusing on the printability of organic circuits and electrical elements.
- Beside those product oriented developments GRT is working also in the field of machine development and optimization. Different goals are under investigation in a strong cooperation with the companies Hell Gravure Systems and Think Laboratories, to increase quality in roto gravure cylinder production. Those results will help also our customers.
